Actually there is one in my brother's basement. But it was his as a kid. He had only girls and twins at that so it will interesting to see what he does with that train. Some how I feel as though I have a vested interest in that train as well if he is going to let it go some time. My kids played with it when we would visit my parents and they have memories of my Dad and that train. Interesting how we get sort of territorial on STUFF.

My husband has a train. We put it around the Christmas tree when our daughter was young. Some nights she fell asleep in his lap watching the train. -- Trains can be special toys.

Those toy trains are my past time past back my childhood!
I missed how I created rail road tracks in it.

Applique A Wheel

  • WheelApplique-001
You'll find appliqued "wheels' in both Aunt Millie's Garden and Lorna's Vine quilts. They look difficult to sew, but they really aren't.

Errata

  • Tree O' Life from Applique Outside the Lines
There is an enlargement percentage that is incorrect. We and our tech editors are very sorry about any inconvenience this may cause you. On page 36 under "Note" and on the Tree O' Life pattern pullout page, please change the enlargement numbers from 50% to 200%. Also, on page 35, in the cutting instructions, the top border should be cut 10" x 54".
  • Tulips in the Park
If you downloaded any Tulips in the Park ePattern before February 4, please note that there is yardage for a black border background listed in the Materials section that should not be there. You do need the 2 1/2 yards of brown border background fabric - but no additional black fabric.
